The Golden Universal Tarot by Lo Scarabeo and Roberto De Angelis: a card-by-card feature by Tarot Zamm.
Lo Scarabeo’s popular Universal Tarot deck is now available with gold foil highlights. Italian painter Roberto de Angelis lends a modern, more realistic approach to the classic Rider-Waite imagery. His dynamic interpretation is perfect for beginning readers, who will recognize the familiar characters and tableaus updated with sophisticated colour and less cluttered compositions.
Now adorned with brilliant gold impressions designed to take on an antique, distressed appearance over time, the Golden Universal Tarot Deck will attract collectors and tarot enthusiasts of all levels. Boxed deck (2¾ x 4¾) includes 78 full-colour cards and instruction booklet

5.0 out of 5 stars – Highly illustrated, gorgeous set
This is a highly illustrated tarot set – perfect for beginners who are learning the imagery associated with tarot or collectors adding to their decks.
The illustrations are gorgeous coupled with the gold embellishments on each and every card. There are some flaws on a few cards – mostly the pentacles suit as the stars seem difficult to emboss in a perfect, uniform way. Maybe an ultimate design flaw, but the imperfections add to the uniqueness of the deck that should age with use.
They are very much like a deck of traditional paper playing cards. Lack of heavy card stock and glossy lamination means the edges will wear over time which is exactly what I wanted and what I imagine other buyers may appreciate as well.
