Six of Wands – Tarot Weekly Reminder

The coming week’s reminder is brought to us by the Six of Wands

When we are functioning optimally, the energies it represents for us would be
-receiving a grand homecoming,
-marching to victory and completion,
-our ability to become successful with our passions or
-enjoying the trust and support of our allies.

When we are weaker than usual in mind, body and spirit, then we may experience
-a seemingly never ending struggle,
-being on top or successful but lonely,
-being unpopular or even infamous, or
-failing.

Who wouldn’t want to be victorious? Certainly, each of us. But what separates the victors from the rest? Strategy and tactics. Afterall, victory comes from the latin word “Victoria” originally applied to warfare, given to success achieved in personal combat, after military operations in general or, by extension, in any competition. (Wikipedia.com)

The best example of a victor is Alexander the Great. He was an excellent strategists and tactician. He was taught discipline and strength by Leonidas, and learned greatness and critical thinking from Aristotle. He had himself surrounded by brave, skilled and loyal men. He was driven by a great dream!

If we want to become victorious, we must seek it , learn it and live it. Being victorious rarely happens by accident. It is always achieved with discipline and a very strong mind. It must become ingrained in our every thought, word and move. It can be learned. Victors do not allow anything to get in their way – neither themselves nor death. When victors perish, their legacy continues and memories remain.

Romanticising victory is so much easier than living it.

Do you have what it takes to be victorious?
