My New Favorite
I have really wanted a Rider-Waite deck for a long time. I bought a Universal Waite deck years ago and it just didn’t click with me. This one, however, has become my favorite deck. The art isn’t just recolored – the lines and shading are smoothed out, which some people don’t like. But I love it. It is sunny, vivid and well, radiant. And it has all the traditional symbolism intact. Just what I was looking for!

Cheery bright, maybe too cheery bright
Format: Cards|Verified Purchase
Interesting blend of pro and con. The brighter, lighter overall look brings out details easily overlooked in the traditional deck, especially facial expressions. On the downside, the cheery, sunny aspect that this deck brings to those cards with darker connotations diminishes the intuitive impact for the querent in the collaborative-type readings that I favor.
