Prince of Swords – Tarot Weekly Reminder
The coming week’s reminder is brought to us by the Knight or Prince of Swords.
When we are functioning optimally, the energies it represents for us would be a solid workable idea, a clear vision, championing a cause, saving the day and fighting for the underdog.
When we are weaker than usual in mind, body and spirit, then we may experience a lack of conviction, cowardice, impulsiveness, projecting mixed signals with regard to our words vs our actions, a lack of communication and the inability to express ourself.
Hero is such a big, admirable and daunting word.
SOme of us dream of becoming a real life hero from when we were little – saving the day, doing what matters most and being the go to person when things are tough. All these because of our acuity, logic, sharp wit, noble intentions and our natural desire to do good.
Being a hero is cool. Being a hero can be complicated.
A hero spends most of his time and energy focused on the good of the many. He gives selflessly.
A hero will always be reliable for and available to those in need. He has very little time for himself. He often has no social life only responsibilities. Being a hero can be profoundly lonely too.
This may sound overly dramatic like the movies. It is not surprising to know that there are some among us who live a selfless life. If we want to be a hero, we must understand what we’re getting into.
We do not need to be a hero who salvages dire situations or changes people’s life in a giaganomous way because we can be a hero even in simplest of the mundane things by being accessible and willing to help in any way we can.
However, one thing we really need to remember to be hero is to become a hero and a champion for ourself first and foremost. When we do this successfully then being a hero for others becomes easy and is approached with mindful balance.
