Eight of Swords – Tarot Weekly Reminder
The coming week’s reminder is brought to us by the Eight of Swords
When we are functioning optimally, the energies it represents for us would be
– boundless optimism,
– expansive vision,
– empowering thought processes, values and convictions, or
– a very healthy sense of self.
When we are weaker than usual in mind, body and spirit, then we may experience feeling
– “blind” and stuck, or
– abandoned in our extreme need.
“You are your worst enemy.” How many times have we heard this?
It applies to every individual, but it can be crippling for some.
It is healthy to question our intentions, motivations, accuracy, skill and decisions. This keeps us grounded and objective. It also gives us the space to reflect while giving us time to tweak or correct our thoughts before they become decisions and turn into actions.
However, if we question ourself all the time and leave these questions unanswered, then why question at all? What’s the point? Unless we can prove or disprove the answers to the questions then we are enslaving ourself with doubt.
Doubt can be hazardous most especially when it gives birth to destructive habits and crippling thought patterns. Imagine if we start doubting at a young age, by the time we are middle-aged, it would be very difficult to reprogramme our thought patterns and habits. It would be hard to free ourself from the “dungeon” we have “painstakingly” built all these years. However, take note, I said very difficult but NOT IMPOSSIBLE. Yes, there is hope. What we need is intervention.
Let’s not waste time. Let us be the creators that we were born to be.
Free our mind and see how beautifully life unfolds!
